Robin joined Horizons as Executive Director in February 2016 after eight years of leadership and management experience with Special Olympics New York, which included program and curriculum development, fundraising, grant writing, budget management, and staff management. He has a strong background in building inclusive programs in elementary school settings, including the Rochester City School District. Robin has a B.S. in Communication and Media from Loughborough University in the U.K. and an M.S. in Inclusive Education from Nazareth College.
Rohan joined Horizons as Development Associate in January 2017 after moving to Rochester from Albany, where he helped run Parks & Trails New York's Cycle the Erie Canal, an 8-day, 400-mile bike tour to close the gaps in the Erie Canalway Trail, and served as a grassroots organizer and community liaison in progressive politics. Rohan grew up in the Hudson Valley and is excited about food, film, photography, and cycling.
Beth joined Horizons as Rise Counselor in July 2017 after 34 years as a teacher and department chair. In addition to her teaching, she has worked as a diversity facilitator, coach, and advisor. In her free time, she co-founded an urban outdoor education program for low-income students and worked with Habitat for Humanity.
